- The customer must renew his expired vehicles in order to apply for this service.
- If one or more cars within a traffic file are expired for more than 90 days, the costumer cannot apply for replacing a lost or damaged vehicle possession certificate or any other vehicle licensing transaction.
Note: The customer does not have to bring the vehicle when applying for this service.

- The customer must have a selling agreement from an authorised dealer in Dubai in case the seller was unable to attend
- The customer is required to settle all the traffic fines before receiving this service
- In case of exporting the vehicle to the same owner with insurance, the remaining period of the insurance can be used to issue export plates if the vehicle is registered
- After using the certificate, the customer must immediately return the plates to RTA. The customer is not allowed to drive the vehicle
- The customer must open a traffic file if he doesn't have a file in Dubai
- The customer must add Salik tag on the plates
- The plates are subject to all the provisions of the traffic law with respect to fines
- The customer cannot drive the vehicle on internal roads. Driving the vehicle is only allowed on main roads leading in and out of the country.

- بعد استخدام الشهادة، وجوب إعادة المتعامل للوحات فوراً إلى هيئة الطرق والمواصلات والامتناع عن قيادة المركبة.
- فتح ملف مروري للمتعامل في حال عدم وجود ملف له في إمارة دبي.
- تركيب بطاقة سالك على اللوحة.
- خضوع لوحات التصدير لكل بنود قانون السير والمرور في ما خص المخالفات والجزاءات.
- منع قيادة المركبة على الطرق الداخلية في الدولة، والسماح بها فقط على الطرق الرئيسية المؤدية إلى خارج الدولة.

- NOC from the authorities of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone and Jabel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA)

- The customer must be employed at a governmental or semi-governmental agency or at a regional organisation that has an office in Dubai
- The customer must be an owner of a distinguished plate number before 27 January 2007
- The customer must have an official letter from an university if he is a student in Dubai.

- - الإقامة في إمارة دبي (إحضار عقد إيجار موثق من الجهات الرسمية، مؤسسة االتنظيم العقاري أو الإيجاري أو إبراز فاتورة الكهرباء أو فاتورة هاتف المنزل بتاريخ حديث).
- - العمل كموظف في جهة حكومية أو شبه حكومية أو منظمة إقليمية تمتلك مكتباً تمثيلياً في إمارة دبي.
- - امتلاك أرقام مميزة قبل تاريخ 27-01-2007.
- - إحضار خطاب في حال كان المتعامل طالباً جامعياً يدرس في إحدى المؤسسات التعليمية في إمارة دبي.

- 25 AED light vehicle
- 12 AED motorcycle
- 50 AED heavy vehicles and buses
- The insurance is optional when renewing the ownership of a quad bike or a trailer and semi-trailer
- To renew the ownership of a vehicle that is outside Dubai, the customer must present an inspection certificate ratified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the concerned country and also by the UAE embassy. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs must also ratify it. The customer presents it at the technical inspection centres within a period of 1 month. GCC countries citizens are exempted from ratifying the documents.
- The customer can renew the ownership of a vehicle 150 days before its expiry
- The customer is required to settle all the traffic fines before receiving this service
- Companies can only apply for this service through online channels (same condition will apply to individuals whose vehicles do not need a technical examination during the first 3 years of registration).
- The commercial vehicles that were purchased from a local dealer after the approval of the Ministry of Economy are exempted from the technical inspection for three years starting the date of registration
- The inspection of the classical vehicles must be undertaken at Barsha Tasjeel, Al Warsan Tasjeel and Wasel Nad Al Hammar.
| - في حال التأخر في تجديد ترخيص المركبة، يدفع المتعامل غرامة تأخير عن كل شهر كالآتي:
- مركبة خفيفة: 25 درهماً.
- دراجة نارية: 12 درهماً.
- مركبة ثقيلة وباص: 50 درهماً.
- التأمين اختياري في حال تجديد ملكية دراجة نارية ترفيهية أو تجديد ملكية مقطورة وشبه مقطورة.
- لتجديد ملكية مركبة موجودة خارج دبي، يجب إحضار شهادة فحص مصدّقة من وزارة خارجية تلك الدولة وسفارة دولة الإمارات، ثم تصديقها من وزارة الخارجية الإماراتية، وتقديمها إلى مراكز الفحص الفني شرط ألاّ تتعدى مدتها شهراً. وتُستثنى دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي من التصديق من الجهات المذكورة.
- إمكانية تجديد ملكية المركبة قبل انتهائها بـ 150 يوماً كحد أقصى.
- دفع كل المخالفات المرورية قبل الحصول على الخدمة.
- عدم السماح للشركات بالتقدم للحصول على هذه الخدمة إلاّ عبر القنوات الإلكترونية. (كذلك الحال بالنسبة للافراد التي لا تحتاج مركباتهم لفحص فني خلال أول 3 سنوات من التسجيل).
- إعفاء المركبات التجارية الجديدة، التي ابتيعت من تاجر محلي ووافقت عليها وزارة الاقتصاد، من الفحص الفني للسنة الأولى ابتداءً من تاريخ التسجيل.

- The customer must work for a company that has a branch in Dubai
- The customer must be a resident in Dubai (the customer must provide a ratified tenancy agreement from Dubai's Real Estate Regulatory Agency or a recent electricity or phone bill)
- The customer must be an employee at a governmental or semi-governmental agency or at a regional institution that has an office in Dubai
- The customer must own a distinguished number before 27 January 2007
- The customer must present a letter from the university if he is enrolled at any educational institution in Dubai
GCC citizens who want to register a vehicle must present the original Emirates ID and are not required to meet the previous conditions Individuals can register new imported vehicles through an agent for 1 year or 2 years or 3 years on the condition that they insure the vehicle over the requested period.
